Adding Pages to your Website Template

After selecting a template design and getting some basics done, you may want to add a page or more to your site. This can be accomplished by following the instructions below.

  • Log into your SpaBoom account and go to the "Setup Tab" along to top of the screen.
  • Click on the "Website" link on the left side of the screen.

Once in the editor, you will have a tool bar at the top of the screen. There are a couple ways to add a page to the website. Any one of the following two methods will work.

Method #1

  • Along the tool bar at the top of the page, click on "Add"
  • In the "Page ID" put the name of the page, with out any spaces. (This will appear in the address bar so spaces will not be accepted.)
  • In the "Title" section, put the name of the page but with spaces. (This will appear in the Navigation and will be used by your clients.)
  • The checkbox option called Sidebar? will enable the formatting for the side menu that you see on your home page. This is where your events appear. It is usually a good idea to enable the Sidebar? checkbox to ensure formatting continuity from page to page. The checkbox option called Hide? prevents the page from appearing on your site.
  • Click on "Update"

***Note*** You may want to make sure the Title font matches for each of the titles. Some of the website themes default to lower case titles and some are title case or upper case. Please try to keep the text case matching for a more professional look.

Once the page is created, you will still have to add it to the navigation for the site.

  • Alongside the page navigation options, near the "Home" link, you'll see an icon that looks like a palm tree(sign post). Click on it.
  • You will see "Tasks" on the left side of the screen. Under this selection, click on "Add Link/Page"
  • In the "Link To" drop down menu, choose the page title you created for the newly added page. The navigation text and hover text should automatically fill in. You are able to edit this accordingly.

Once this is done, click on "Save"

Method #2

  • Log into your SpaBoom account and go to the "Setup Tab" along to top of the screen.
  • Click on the "Website" link on the left side of the screen.
  • Along the navigation of the page, near the "Home" link, you'll see an icon that looks like a palm tree(sign post). Click on it.
  • You will see "Tasks" on the left side of the screen. Under this selection, click on "Add Link/Page"
  • In the "Link To" drop down menu, choose the "New Page". You are able to fill in what you'd like the navigation text and hover text to say.

This new page will now be available in your website editor to edit, add pictures to, and add content to.
